Could Microsoft Release Scorpio on Sept 8th, D2 Day? (Destiny)

I saw an interesting idea on the release of the Xbox Scorpio leading up to E3 at a recent game site. Thought you Destiny folks might think it interesting.

Launch date- Holiday 2017 is way too vague, and personally speaking, hoping was just a ruse on their part. IMO, the Fall games lineup starts with Madden in late August and rolls into a flurry in September with Destiny 2, FIFA, NHL, NBA, and likely a couple more games with TBA dates. Most, if not all, of those games are likely to ship with full fat 4K support. Releasing in September with a lineup that shows off the power of Scorpio would be a great move. While Sony might have marketing rights to Destiny 2, I think a September 8th launch date would be exceptionally bold of them. IMO, November might do more harm than good in terms of software sales as many gamers are likely to hold off game purchases until the console ships despite all games being Xbox One compatible.

What do you think, would and could Microsoft be so bold as to release the Scorpio on the same day as Destiny 2?

There's definitely been a couple rumors I've seen that it'll release sooner. HOWEVER, there is a pretty reliable source (from a Windows Central writer, who has a great track record on Xbox info) that says games being made with full Scorpio support are required to pass certification again the October XDK. I'm hoping Microsoft surprises everyone though, I think it would definitely improve sales for them if they could launch it at that time.
