On the flip-side, finding matching visuals (that were spoiler-free) was a pain, and the end result kinda reflects that. I'm not sure if combining photo-mode and non-photo-mode shots was a good idea- it feels a bit jarring.

Nice. An improvement over #1!

And yes, you are right about the photo mode. In fact, I generally find that even going between 'gameplay' and cinematics has the same jarring effect if not done carefully.
