The time is long, long past for that - but you're absolutely right, it was me (and my feelings about negative feedback) that kept me from doing it.

I never wanted to do it ENOUGH to overcome that. (If it had been a burning desire, you're right, I would have done it, and damn the consequences. But it wasn't. It was something I always thought would be sort of cool... until I remembered the audience. There were always other things that were more satisfying, and less frustrating, so I never got to it.)

You're correct, also, that we all are entitled to our opinions - even when they're negative.
