Well, I wouldn't say that Speed really "helped", since he pulled a Cruel and died on us halfway through the thing, forcing us to five-man it as always...
Also thought it was funny how Speed said I would humble myself, then I proceeded to do HIS job as well as my own when he died. The fool only fueled my ego further!

I hope the folks too scared to try the Assignment method (apparently the Xbone folks' method of choice) stop being so dang scared of change. It really is simple ("Come on guys, if the Xbox people can do it, it should be easy for us!" *cue Speed and Kermit's annoyed sighs*)

I'm a bit disappointed at the implication that the XBox raiders are less skilled. Let's compare Kermit's Playstation partners with his XBox partners this week (numbers from raid.report):
Average VoG Completions XBox One: 66 (108 minute average completion time)
Average VoG Completions Playstation: 84 (112 minute average completion time)
Average CE Completions XBox One: 69 (76 minute average completion time)
Average CE Completions Playstation: 78 (100 minute average completion time)
Average KF Completions XBox One: 61 (228 minute average completion time)
Average KF Completions Playstation: 20 (319 minute average completion time)
Average WotM Completions XBox One: 45 (143 minute average completion time)
Average WotM Completions Playstation: 17 (276 minute average completion time)
Yes, it's a sample pulled from a single week, and yes you can't take an average of averages so consider the times an estimation. Nevertheless, I don't see anything that would justify the elitism.

To be fair, average completion time is more about familiarity within the fireteam than average skill level. Hell we accidentally ran Crota in 14 minutes or whatever that one time just because it was our third run of the night and I'm the worst player on the forum.
Also, that is Korny's gimmick.

I still haven't found a group that's willing to do Golgoroth's challenge using the best strategies from both groups (distract from across the map to facilitate first gaze-taking, then subsequent gaze holders run a circuit around the map). It would eliminate wipes from failing to get the gaze or from getting swamped by orbs during reloads.
