What changes does the update bring? Well, it makes all of the game's DLC free, for one.

It also adds support for a free weekend, in case anyone else is curious about the game. You can play the first two Campaign levels, and all of DOOM Multiplayer and SnapMap (though I warn you that if you choose to play Snapmap, you'll spend hours staring at loading screens):

Xbox/Steam Free Weekend:
11am CT on Thursday 07/20 -11pm CT on Sunday 07/23.

PS4 Free Weekend:
11am CT on Thursday 07/27 -11pm CT on Sunday 07/30.

Also, the game will be on sale for $14.99 during those free weekends...
