PSA: $20 charge for Best Buy preorder cancellation (Destiny)

PSA: If you preordered Destiny 2 at Best Buy and cancelled the order after using your beta early access code, then you were likely charged $20 for the beta code.

If you view your order summary on the Best Buy website, it'll say the total is $0.00, but if you view the order details, it will reveal that they charged $19.99 for the beta early access code. You can check your credit card statement to see the $19.99 charge, as well.

Say what you will about people preordering just to get the code, but this is still extremely shady of Best Buy. They try to hide this charge on the order summary page, they didn't send an email about the charge, they didn't mention anywhere this charge would occur, and they even say "Promo Code has no cash value, except as required by law."

There's some indication that the charge was a mistake and will be reversed for everyone. If you want to be sure, you can contact customer support to get a refund.
