If the Wikipedia page is to be trusted, escape velocity evens out to about 80m/s (Earth's is about 11000m/s and the Moon's 2400m/s, for comparison).

In automotive scales, 80m/s is around 290km/h or 180mph (most supercars can push past that). It's be fun to go into orbit just by boosting those Pikes, wouldn't it?
