Just was screwing around and testing out the 3rd person animations and found that while rotating the camera and moving very slowly, I could move around without moving my legs. Made for a weird floaty effect:

At least that's what we called it in our instance.

The rotating thing happens in D1 also. I do it in the tower a lot when I am waiting on people.

Since that's still around from Destiny 1, I wonder if this crouching bug still exists. Stumbled on this one with Sammy, which causes your Guardian to appear standing and moving in place when you're holding your Heavy weapon out, even if you're crouched perfectly safe behind cover, and you can totally move around with it. Could be very useful... ;)
