Regarding cheating: (Destiny)

Destiny 2 will block streaming apps and third party notifications in the name of anti cheating. Not sure how legitimate the reason is, but it seems misguided. Blocking streaming apps definitely won't help the PC crowd latch onto the game.

EDIT: I guess the THAB says that already. I don't read those things!

It doesn't really block streaming apps, it blocks features that inject code into the game, which is one of the major ways that cheating happens on PC. I'm actually somewhat happy about this because it blocks a lot of cheating without having to first detect a cheater, which is how the vast majority of games work even when they are exclusively multiplayer.

And with the caveats they've listed on their support page for things that will work most streamers and content creators are actually going to be unaffected by this because they usually run in Windowed Fullscreen anyway (otherwise they'd be unable to manage chat and OBS during gameplay) or they use a separate PC or device for capture which will be completely unaffected. Only a very tiny percentage of people use OBS or Xsplit in a single PC environment while running the game in Fullscreen.
