I actually really liked the change of pace in music.

I didn't mind it at first, but by the 5th time, just found it a distraction and obnoxious.

Looks like this was fun to edit. Other then the general design of things, nothing too thrilling to me. Only thing that had me go "What is that" for a moment was the gun at 0:28.

Looks like a Fallen grenade launcher to me.

I was thinking shotgun, looking at it again, I think you are overall right.
