That's pretty much it. Not huge, and apparently not important enough to the overall story for Bungie to keep it out of the trailer, but I wouldn't have minded finding that out while playing instead of while watching a video.

The action movie trailer directing has gotten much better since previous iterations.

Also, I didn't see Ikora as a shotgun gal, always more of a fusion rifle person.

Ok so it looks like indeed, the trailers and beta have more enemy dialog (and character) than Destiny vanilla. That's a great sign and it looks like no matter how hammy it is, there will actually be a solid story grounding our next several years of adventures.

Also the bump up in framerate from the PC version makes it so they can make much cooler action trailers.

This definitely got me hyped.

I kind of want D2 to fully ham it up. D1 vanilla was so self serious. Destiny is a game about shooting monsters in the face while wearing their ass as a hat, this isn't deep meaningful stuff, just go and be silly and lean into that.

Yeah, this has raised the stakes up from, well nothing, and sure, Cayde is going to crack jokes. One of the best parts of the story missions in TTK IMO.
