And as far as #fusionriflenerf after playing on PC yesterday for several hours, it does need it. Both me and Beorn started yesterday a little annoyed it was going to be nerfed, then we both realized after countless fusion rifle team wipes (on both sides) that it is maybe a little hot. I am going to miss those crazy voops though.

Yeah, I don't disagree with you. I just am sad the fusion rifle never really gets a chance to shine. In vanilla destiny, it was my favorite weapon because it felt different and unique. I used it in PvE all of the time. After the nerfs, it just felt impotent. They are a great concept, but they tend to get ruined by the competing needs of PvP and PvE. Even in the Beta, they felt a little weak in the strike while feeling a bit op in the crucible.
Someday they'll shine again.
