Good music, sluggish controls, repetitive art, terrible AI.

sluggish controls

I thought that too at first, but then I turned my sensitivity up higher than I had it in D1. It seemed good after that.

I've only played as a hunter so far. The jump feels different. I haven't unlocked anything yet so maybe it will change with the other jump options.

Nobody mentions that there's no sprint cooldown anymore...

I noticed that I barely did any sprinting because I want to look at everything.

Same. Since Luke mentioned you "find" your exotic, I'm paranoid that I'm going to miss something if I sprint from objective to objective. Moving pretty slow.

That's because Rise of Iron removed sprint cooldown with that artifact. I didn't even look at anything else when I got that.

My "sluggish controls" were at the waiting screen.

Umm, the "sluggish controls" were at the "Destiny is at capacity" waiting screen. But thanks for taking me seriously, it's nice to have that every year or two.

Sarcasm, it's not just gddglggdjhe, it's also hard to understand.

(Putting a joke in my "sorry I wasn't clear about my joke" message is asking for it. But I can't help myself. :)

Early AM first impression

I looked at the clock last night at 10pm and thought, I could wait up and hour, play for an hour and go to bed. Then realized that everyone in the country would be logging on, and in situations like that I'm 0-INFINITE on getting into games. Went to bed.

Toddler son crawled into our bed around 4am. If you've ever shared a bed with a toddler, it's like laying next to a drunk octopus looking for its keys. I got up at 4, played for just over 2 hours, no glitches no hitches.

Watched all the intros, memories, played homecoming mission through the first mission, found my light, knocked out some patrols and public events.

I have to say, I felt a bit overwhelmed with unlocking things. Engrams auto decrypting, leveling up, earning points, tokens, all kinds of stuff. It was hard to find a quiet spot to see what all I had earned. That's not a complaint, just not used to it.

It's still way to early to make judgement, but so far...it's been great and already feels larger and well thought out.

It was interesting to see how quickly things rolling forward. Though engrams always auto decrypted in D1 for lower quality engrams.
