I have been loving the art of the world and I know some of you are fantastic at getting good shots. I want to see them, so I figured I'd start a thread.

I'll start it off by showing one of my favorite areas. The Shard

No screenshot, just a general thought: Destiny 2 does an amazing job at being very familiar and retreading similar themes while being sufficiently distinct from the destinations in Destiny 1. They made 4th and 5th Vex-architecture heavy environments still feel interesting and visually interesting (through a predominance of spheres and juxtaposition of fossils) and make me want to go back.

Agreed. I think they hit the sweet spot of different enough but still honoring the source material. Rogue One hit that spot IMHO where the prequels did not.

I'm surprised that I've only taken three real screenshots (other than inventory comparisons and stuff).

That last one had a real Horizon Zero Dawn vibe (even down to how you first get into the Lost Sector)...

As for those first two, both were found on my first try during my first playthrough. :P

Can't wait to really start exploring the maps, lol...

I love the look of the caves in this game. They capture that fantasy adventure element really well. Really love that last shot.

It reminds me how these are what I wanted caves to be in D1, but there were only a couple hat were more than spawn closets. Now even the spawn closet sized ones feel refreshing.

I cannot get over how beautiful this game is. Almost every corner and turn has something beautiful to look at and Bungie really brought their A-game to this outing. Here's some shots from adventures yesterday.

On the mission to find / help Cayde:

So apparently You can get a private match if the conditions are just right. Cody and I were dropped into the Iron Temple last night (Of all maps, of course it's the one we've all seen before), so I was able to take a few shots.

You got some good ones in the Archology! I especially like the first one you posted from in there. I took a couple in that area but wasn't really happy with them.

Really like the composition of your "picnic" spot on Nessus. I think Nessus is my favorite, but Io is really awesome too!

Robot, how are you getting all these screenshots without having to have your character in the way??

So many of the screencaps I wanted to take are ruined by having to deal with my Guardian and/or weapon being in the way of the view

Yeah, this is how I imagine the opening of Truth and Reconciliation to look like if it were made in destiny.

I have yet to see the great red spot on Jupiter. Perhaps Bungie corrected that mistake? We now know the Golden Age was ~500 years prior, which means it should definitely be gone by now.

I already had figured that out. I was hoping you knew something I didn't about a way to hide your guardian to take screenshots without being limited to finding a wall, rock, tree or other object in a good spot to "hide" in. {sigh}
