Glad to know that my trusty favorite from D1 is still relevant and waiting for me when we eventually get this game.

Somehow I still haven't finished the MIDA quest, but I've been having fun with the hard-hitting Scout "Does Not Compute", running "Uriel's Gift" as my energy. Also Foetracer is an amazing PvP exotic armor.
I despise that gun.
I know it's a good gun for a lot of people, but not me.
I have yet to figure out that hair trigger. I can fire full pull triggers faster.
It's sound is a turn off. Gun sound is an important part of the experience to me and the clunk of this rifle whispers "wimp".
If not for the agility perk with mini-tool, I'd infuse it into a good legendary. I may do that anyway and buy a low power version for agility situations.

I thought the mini-tool was a different gun.

I cannot stand that gun.
One of the MAIN reasons I was looking forward to Destiny 2 was new exotics and getting rid of the broken old ones. So what does Bungie do? They bring back the one gun that makes all other guns irrelevant in PVP. I loved Trials in Destiny 1, because you had special weapons to counter this. 33% of people running Trials this past weekend used MIDA. Its very hard to counter on the map, with the long site lines and all. I was hoping for some diversity in the crucible this go around. I am sure it will get a nerf in PVP soon.
That being said, I really enjoy the gun for PVE. Its a solid gun for sure, just seems to make crucible less fun when that is all anyone uses.
I thought the mini-tool was a different gun.
With both multi and mini equipped, there's an extra extra agility perk.

Foetracer + MIDA + Way of the Tracker is way OP.

Sweaty modes will always have minimum diversity.

I'm a little disappointed they brought back anything at all.
I was hoping for no old guns. Everything new.
This is true, but I feel like we had alot more diversity D1.

Not only back, but it has high-caliber rounds again (which it had for a time in D1, but was removed to make it less of a menace in PvP), so it's back at peak performance. Personally, I missed that effect, not being a PvP player. It was fun using it to keep mini-bosses staggered indefinitely.

Megaman never reused weapons :-p

Also I'm really kicking myself for not making a "Dylan" reference about this article.
BRUH.
No I totally understand that. That's why I still love the game and the PVP. I just assumed we would have more/ not the same meta at the beginning of D2. That's what I get for making assumptions.

This is true, but I feel like we had alot more diversity D1.
It's also one of the easiest tried and true guns to get so far. Given time, it will even out with other guns that are harder to get. Like some of the trials/raid guns.

p sure the Buster Gun is in every Megaman game.
