The Kinect wasn’t that great and didn’t do much to improve games, so nobody wanted it, and few supported it.

Tell that to my wife who plays Fruit Ninja. She will fight you for days.

I still say if Xbox One had launched with an updated version of Kinect Party (formerly Happy Action Theater), the new Kinect might have had a chance. There wasn't a single game on Xbox One that worked as well with the new Kinect as Kinect Party worked with the 360 Kinect.
