Splish Splash - Leviathan Raid Challenge *SP* (Destiny)
Yesterday Bungie gave us a new challenge to tackle! This one was located in the Royal Pools.
While not complicated, this challenge is actually pretty hard: Someone must always be standing in the middle pool.
Here's how we did it:
- PLATES: One person standing in the middle to hold the pool.
- PLATES: Five people rotating plates.
- DAMAGE: Four people do damage.
- DAMAGE: Two clear adds/manage "time in the pool"
This allowed us to complete it in two rounds.

Heh - you skipped the nuances in the damage phase. ☺
(I only say that because we wiped 3 or 4 times after figuring out the basic rules, before nailing down the nuances.)

Agreed - the DPS phase is the tough bit. I'd recommend at least one person on add control on the outside edges (with a full stack of protection) that can step into the water as people's protection begins to run out - especially if you're doing it in two phases. At least on normal, it's worth trying to single-phase it.

BTW, I recommend Scathelocke and Uriel's Gift (both with High Caliber Rounds) for the Royal Pools. The HCR staggers enemies very well (including bathers) and can give you an extra second to get the kill without taking damage - especially useful on Prestige. Merciless does very well in the power slot for both bathers and lanterns.
