So I was enjoying a bathroom break, and reading the latest Wired, when I ran across a pretty funny article. I tried to find it online... but sometime in the last year or two Wired has moved its magazine articles back 6 months (so that the latest issue currently available is June). Not gonna wait 6 months to share, so here's a scan.
And... now I understand a LOT.

I had a pet snake for sixteen years. He never sang. Hissed a bit, rattled his tail when he wanted to scare the cats, but nothing anyone could call music with a straight face.
This explains a lot, really.
