Let me know how to test that and I'd be happy to confirm (Gaming)

I don't think anyone has mentioned it yet, but Xbox One has a robust backward compatibility program. Cody's interest in preserving history is being well served by Microsoft. That alone trumps any lack of exclusives IMHO.

That is certainly appealing…

Does anybody know if the Xbox 360 titles that are available via backward compatibility support 6 channel PCM output? That would be a big deal. There's tons of games for the 360 I'd love to make fake movie trailers for for instance, but it's a pain because 360 games only did 5.1 output in dolby, meaning you can't record in surround without a dolby decoder with XLR outputs. Those are rare and expensive.

It was a pain for Halo 3/ODST/Reach believe me.

Unfortunately I have no capture hardware/software, so I may be of no help.

Do you have a home receiver? Select 5.1 or 7.1 LPCM output in the Xbox settings, load up an Xbox 360 game, and see if the receiver displays PCM or if it displays Dolby.
