Isn't Flashpoint much more than just 3 patrol missions? It's random XP in the planetary destination, but it's kind of a lot. Usually 3 full Heroic Public Events cut it, but not patrols...

Oh, yeah, that's not what I meant.

I just unlocked Patrols with Cayde. You have to do his quest on the EDZ to unlock Patrols, then do 3 Patrols for the Milestone, and then after that it's supposed to unlock the Flashpoint, but it didn't unlock for me. So my Titan just doesn't even have a Flashpoint Milestone.

Since it's flashpoint Mercury right now, is it possible you don't have access to that zone yet?

No, I've got Mercury access. I took her through Curse of Osiris over the weekend.

I tried switching characters and logging out and back in. I've had quests not give me the new milestone before and fixed it by going to orbit and back or something, but it didn't work this time.

It's not a huge deal, I'm not missing out on much by missing one Milestone engram, I was just curious if there was something obvious that I might be missing.
