Thought I'd get the obvious first reply out of the way here, so that someone else doesn't have to. I've had a rash of strange happenings recently in D2. In no particular order (except reverse chronological), here's some oddness. Some are actually inexplicable, others just felt like WTF in the moment.

This happens a lot for folks who rush through the Forest. Crossing that barrier before the other side is fully spawned-in is insta-death. Not really sure why. (I've even triggered it by jumping across areas you don't normally cross.)

This has to be the most WTF feeling of them all, at least in the moment when everyone was yelling at me to go and I CLEARLY could not do so. I am a raid noob, so I'm sure everyone just thought I didn't know what was going on, but I mean... there either is a wall in the way, or there isn't. And there was. I'm sure it was just lag - everyone else saw the barrier as being down already, and I'm sure it was supposed to be. I think my box just hadn't found out about it yet.

This came up the last time we were running the Gauntlet, and it turned out that it's not common knowledge that calling out the row too early can hurt you. (I was the shooter on the first wall, our runner called out which row to shoot before he could move, and I warned him that could be a problem. He pshaw'd me, and made it through that time without a problem, but 3 or 4 rounds later, it bit him - he did it again, and this time the wall closed before he got to it (as it did for you). You should be moving towards the wall before you call it, to make sure this doesn't happen.

This happened to me a bunch of times in a row - I decided I was doing something wrong, and stopped picking up the orbs. I'm glad to see it happens to someone else occasionally. ;)

Entering a not-fully-formed portion of the Infinite Forest is pretty universally fatal in my experience. Like, at all. Is no bueno sometimes.

There's no WTF here, except maybe from the Standard Bearer's perspective. I just thought it was a cool clip.

That was a very nice Novabomb. Always refreshing when they don't explode by coming in general proximity of a corner before they get where you want them.

The Vex mancannons are. Weird. There are some in the Cyclops Mercury Strike that you have to make sure you enter from below, otherwise you get launched straight into a wall. Also, I have had the PE ones do that to me. Repeatedly.

But have you had the rings shoot you into the next ring and have that ring kill you? It is the worst. I don't trust landing without jump abilities. Never trust landing without jump abilities.

Obviously, with this one, you should have waited your turn when the Harpies were done using it.
