Great moments out of a massacre (Destiny)
So we continued the prestige raid last night and started and finished on the Baths. It was 3ish hours of failure, or as I like to call it "Almost success."
Either way, I captured some fun moments between the slaughter.
When someone smacks you while taking a selfie (mean people)
Turns out Breitzen's dancing is so atrocious that it just confuses the enemies.
Never question the power a Titan puts behind their punches :P
I just like this because Old Fire Thief is being a doofus.

I'm glad we got something positive out of beating our heads against that wall :)

Prestige Baths...
Definitely one of the hardest challenges in the game. Chappy's group probably failed at it for a combined 10-15 hours over several weeks before we finally beat it.
What strategy were you guys using? We originally started with the 2 teams of 3 normal mode strategy, switched to the 5 man rotation ripple strategy, then finally switched back to the 2 teams of the 3, completing it in a desperate single phase with 1 or 2 people alive at the end.

We started with 2 three man teams and then moved to the 5 man rotation method. The 5 man rotation works but you have to do it perfectly. If one person dies or is more than 5 seconds late than it really throws off the timing.
The one time we did to DPS on the lanterns we got 6 of the 9. So we have no problem with the DPS round, just getting there.

Given the new mechanic that shifts people around after DPS and the difficulty just in getting there, you should make every effort to single-phase the lanterns on prestige. Essentially that means picking the right subclass and saving your supers for the DPS round. Titans should run Sunbreaker (upper tier); a Titan can clear 3 lanterns with hammers and a merciless. Warlocks should run Voidwalker (lower tier) with an empowering rift. Hunters can use tether to help with Ad control or Celestial nighthawk + Golden Gun to kill one lantern in a single shot.

That is actually a great idea. I don't know why we didn't think of this.
Prestige Baths...
Ironically, thats how we beat dogs. Turns out best option for this raid is just to go crazy and one phase everything. (Where applicable)
