Oryx’s Dreadnaught was carrying numerous pods each of which had a “Taken worm.” Though we KOed he ship pretty quickly, he was certainly in view of Titan for quite some time during the Taken War. Heck, for that matter he was in view of Saturn! We already know that the worm gods survived near the core of the gas giant Fundament. Why not have one or more in Saturn?

There’s also a scan object on Titan that talks about the rig’s systems being able to detect something very big below the surface, but no timeframe is given, unfortunately.
