Yeah! I saw that too! Luckily I already saved up about 200 tokens, so that was 15 levels. Now if only the gunsmith would have a sweet ship cause I would instantly get it with my 2000+ materials :D

Uggh, one of my weapon quests has me doing 5 heroic strikes with an IKELOS weapon equipped. So I did one, with the weapon equipped, and used most of the time. It was the strike where you have to kill Xol. It was hard as eff. After it was all done, it still said I had completed 0/5. wtf. Pass.

Uggh, one of my weapon quests has me doing 5 heroic strikes with an IKELOS weapon equipped. So I did one, with the weapon equipped, and used most of the time. It was the strike where you have to kill Xol. It was hard as eff. After it was all done, it still said I had completed 0/5. wtf. Pass.

Yeah, the Heroic Strikes are kinda glitched with the weapon. It's worked about 50/50 for me. Don't give up though!

Yeah, the Heroic Strikes are kinda glitched with the weapon. It's worked about 50/50 for me. Don't give up though!

Supposedly after you launch the activity but before you enter it, check that the game is displaying "Heroic Strike Playlist" and not the name of the strike. If the former, then you're good. If the latter, you're experiencing the bug.

So Bungie said something about it being kinda finicky... Basically there is a way for you to not select heroic strikes sometimes when you actually select it... Basically you need to make sure it actually says the right title before you hit start. Another way to make sure it is the right one is that it should have modifiers on when you are playing.

I'll double check. But I have to say, I beat the mission in the campaign by myself without problem, but for the strike, 3 of us guardians took 4 attempts to beat it and it was difficult. So if that WASN'T the heroic strike, than I'm especially not interested in trying the heroic version.

I'm not gonna lie, heroic is rough. Expect to wipe at least a couple times on each boss until you get the hang of it. That is, if you are running with blueberries.

I found playing under leveled in Heroic Strikes for this quest quite difficult. Knowing the IKELOS quest isn't working properly puts the brakes on for me until it's fixed.

As MacAddict mentioned above, the bug in question is 100% detectible, and you can tell right from the beginning of the Strike if it'll count or not. Just pull out your Ghost and see if the three Heroic Modifiers are listed on the right side of the screen.

Apart from that, when you're ready to launch the playlist from the Director, it should say "Heroic Strike Playlist" for the activity name, rather than the name of a specific Strike. When I was doing this quest, the only time we had issues with this bug were when we were trying to launch into the playlist while we were already in another activity. If we went into the playlist from Orbit, we had no issues (but that may just be luck).

Either way, it's really not that bad.
