Silly question, is there a right way to use DARCI? (Destiny)

This is non-raid specific, do you just fire as quickly as you can or do you have to time your shots? Do you need to be careful about accuracy?

You need to get critical hits, yes. The bonus doesn't apply to bodyshots. So you know, shoot as fast as you can while not missing critical hits.

You need to get critical hits, but you also have to wait until the target lights up with a red outline. Otherwise you won't get the bonus bonus damage.
