A couple of tidbits that I haven’t seen mentioned here... (Gaming)
Can’t post a lot of deals with the terrible internet that I have at the moment, but I saw a couple of great deals for PS4/XB1.
If you’re on PS4, Black Ops 3 is free for what I’m assuming is the rest of this month. Even if you’re not into the Multiplayer, this game comes with four PvE options out of the gate.
-The campaign is 4-player co-op, and it comes with RPG elements, so you can have every player running a different ability and weapon loadout (or you can just equip your friend’s loadout with no penalty or cost). The story is pretty lame, but the gameplay is solid fun. There’s even a difficulty where you die/get downed by a single enemy bullet. Sounds impossible, but Sammy and I had a great time with it, and I’d be happy to run through it again.
-Once you’re done with that, you unlock a remixed version of the campaign, where all of the enemies are replaced with zombies. Also co-op!
-There’s also a fun twin-stick shooter with its own minigames, Also 4-player.
-And lastly, there’s a dedicated zombie survival mode, which can be fun.
And, I mean, the multiplayer’s no Titanfall, but I really enjoyed it...
And if you’re on Xbox, The Division is now on Gamepass, so we can all play it together (y’all picked up that deal that I was talking about, right?)
I'll snag 'em, no problem.

A couple of tidbits that I haven’t seen mentioned here...
I have to say while I've come to dislike the COD series, BO3's Zombie campaign was far better then the actual in game campaign, despite using the same levels and cut scene video. It was creepy and amusing.

I really can’t agree to the suggestion that the story is lame. There are a whole bunch of different factors and layers to the story which are quite worth experiencing. I will definitely admit it is a very weird story, but the campaign is definitely worth experiencing.

I agree, but compared to Blops 1 and 2, and the direction that the story and advertising were headed, 3 was such a big departure that I found it disappointing (Mason was only mentioned in a single grimoire post establishing that he washed out of the Black Ops enhancement). But the ending twist was neat, especially when you take the timeline, loading screen text, and hospital implications into account... But you won't catch any of that on a normal playthrough unless you're paying supernatural levels of attention...
Also, I think I've posted this a couple of times before, but this trailer had me pretty hyped for the game, unfortunately we were Hunt-the-truthed with a much smaller-scope story.

I really, really don't think that you can claim that trailer is anywhere near the level of disingenuous marketing as Hunt-the-Truth. But that's nitpicking, really. A lot of the things discussed as you get into the later parts of that video are touched upon within the trailer. While the story itself is much narrower in focus the world it is presented in is fairly in line with what is shown off to us.
It's been awhile since I did a play through of the campaign. But I would argue that even the surface levels of the campaign tell a more interesting story than we get with most games on the market. That itself was a surprise from a CoD game. I don't think it is the best game in the W@W universe, but I also tend to put its campaign above Blops2.

Fired it up for about an hour this morning before work.
Holy crap, the entire experience is the bro-eyest brofest that ever bro'ed.
Guitar riffs coming from the controller on level-ups? The profanity-laced chatter? I mean, I'm no prude, but if I feel the urge to throw on the content filter; I think something's wrong.
Don't get me started on the art style or the wingfest PvP. Everything from the word go screams to me that this is an IP burdened heavily by feature creep. That said, my time with Titanfall and Destiny made me feel more or less right at home. It's...interesting. I'll have to give the campaign a shot and see if I feel differently.
OTOH, Zombies remains fairly fun. Only got in a couple (extremely short) rounds, but I'm loving the Ron Perlman experience. If anybody is inclined towards some nights of wacky fun with CODBLOPS, I'd be game.

Or, if you want to go back an read the thread again, I voiced some specific concerns about the tone we strike here.
And if I recall correctly, you'd just come off of a ban.
But, y'know. Context, schmontext.
