There is an animal in both the game's title, and the developer's name. Not necessarily the same in each.

Oh, oh, oh! No... wait... I'm guessing Crash Bandicoot by Naughty Dog doesn't count as an indie game...

I wouldn't. Also, while 'short-lived' is subjective, that studio definitely isn't.

It would count! The studio was independent until Sony bought them in 2001. Crash Bandicoot was released in 1996.

But he doesn't win because it's not the game the music's from.
