THAB 7.12.18 (Destiny)
Rumble returns and Quickplay will be 6v6 with the new patch.
Next week, bounties are back, baby!
Some vendors will offer bounties for increased XP and faction rep, with some offering "even better rewards." You can turn them in in the field.
There are two new mechanics. Bounties will expire if left uncompleted, and acquiring them will cost a small amount of Glimmer. We wanted to avoid the “grab every bounty you see until your inventory is packed and sort them out later” experience without constraining players to the tiny inventory they found in previous iterations of the game.
I'm glad for more stuff to do, even if it's not really "new content." But also, I think Challenges were a smart way to eliminate bounties, making them sort of automatic. It's just that the challenges are just never interesting. Hopefully the new bounties will have a little more variety.
They talk about GuardianCon just a bit and a Gambit Exhibition Tournament at the Tampa Convention Center.
