Roadmap updated... (Destiny)

Looks like weapon slot changes, shader deletion, and the 200 extra vault slots are being moved up by a week, so you'll have time to clear all of that up before Forsaken. They also point out that some stuff listed as launching with 2.0.0.1 won't actually be available right away, as they plan to trickle it out over time.

Also, one of the four previously announced Crucible maps is now listed as a Playstation exclusive.

It maybe doesn't get said nearly enough around here or elsewhere, amidst all of the opinions

Thank You Bungie <3

I am truly pleased and thankful that the details about the upcoming Collections and revamped Vault were communicated prior to the large Fall update release and that these updates are now also being implemented in a time window prior to the day of the update!

-------

INSANEdrive beat me to the punch about mentioning the API update which allowed Destiny Sets to create a simulated snapshot of your character's approximate current Collection for the incoming Fall update.
I disagree with allowing a third party to access my account, as I would rather use a first party source or tool (bungie.net or the Official Destiny Companion Application) but have made a one time, 10-minute, exception to access Destiny Sets(login) and capture a snapshot of my projected Collection. I have since revoked Destiny Sets access on my Bungie.net profile and changed password.
It is so great that after all these years Bungie continues to openly support allowing access to API data.

I'm not trying to change your mind, but what is your concern with 3P API access?

I'm glad you are not trying to change my mind because I'm not going to try to defend myself :)
However, if you follow the link back that I posted and read that thread, you may learn a little bit more. Maybe not though, since I know the apprehension is illogical and has old roots in paranoia and responsibility with credentials and personal information. (you can never be too careful with your credentials)

I praise Bungie for their support of API data, even though I do not actively partake in all of the benefits that it has created.

(Shooting you an email - wholly unrelated to the subject matter above)
