There was a potentially credible leak on reddit last week that I read, and I'm really curious how true some of it is.

My Name is Byf had a pretty extensive video on some of the supposed spoilers. I have to say a lot of what I heard tracks in a believable way. I'm pretty pumped. On one hand, the story seems like it's going in the general direction I had hoped. On the other hand, it's doing so in a way I hadn't exactly expected, and I'm really happy for that.

I just hope the way it's implemented is a bit more satisfying than in previous expansions, and that we get more of the rank-and-file community that aren't lore-miners on the same page. Because there are LOTS of people that have no idea what's going on and are just sort of along for the ride.

Looks like they've changed the entire "death" of Cayde from what they've shown before into something much more ambiguous...

And then they showed off every trailer that we've already seen in the past two months, and... nothing more besides a tidbit that Gambit will be available to all players for one day on Sept. 1st.

I'm kind of speechless about that video. It was awesome yet, sad. I'm pretty excited to see how everything shakes out.

Cayde pops golden gun and gets knocked out by a shoulder charge...I know that feeling all too well.

I have low hopes here. Most cinematic trailers they've released primarily on twitter have little to do with what actually happens in the game. So i'd be surprised.

I definitely don't think it's going to be identical to that teaser initially released, but they have his gun drop ready to be picked up. I'm almost positive we're going to see Uldren pull the trigger, I'd be completely shocked if he doesn't. Less than two weeks to find out either way though!

That trailer is a version of Cayde that I’ll actually miss. Much more Nathan Drake (obviously) than the clown he seemed to be for most of D2.

Nolan North did a fantastic job. It wasn’t until the “I said back in your cages!” that I could really tell it was him. He’s got Fillion’s Cayde down really well.
