Raid Lairs for Noobs?

Ok, so I wasn't expecting this, but it turns out the Solstice grind grabbed me and now I'm sitting at 380 points with nothing left to do but the two Leviathan raid lairs.

I fell out of raiding between Aksis and Calus, and I've never even set foot in either of the lairs.

Are there other lair virgins who want to give it a shot before Forsaken launches? Are there experience raid lairers (lair raiders?) willing to sherpa a noob or two through them in search of those last 20 points?

Willing to put up a fireteam event, but I'm available most of the time and I'm willing to play more or less whenever anyone else is.

Color me interested. I'd put myself mostly in the noob category for those. I've been through the first lair once, and PART of the second lair (I'm not completely sure how far we got). Certainly not enough to tell anyone else what to do.

Weekdays between 6pm-10pm central time. Weekends are usually pretty open, except this Saturday afternoon/evening.

I have done the main raid, but not the Raid Lairs.

B/C of the kiddos, i probably cannot get on until 9:30PM Central Time on any given night. So just set up works best for the most people.

I got enough points for the shirt and the sparrow, and have given up on getting to 400 b/c I'm never gonna get Sagira's shell in time.

I also thought I had no chance, but I just ended up getting it a few days ago.

The necessary mats seem to drop faster in crucible than anywhere else, and there seems to be a chance of getting more when you use fireteam medallions.

I'm on the Saint 14 quest right now. I only have garden progeny, machina die, sol pariah, and future safe.

Yeah, so... more than a third of the way there. That would be a bit of a grind.

Crucible probably faster than strikes. For me the most time-consuming bit was advanced paradox amplifiers. I almost always had more than enough of the other materials by the time I had collected those.

I lucked out on my last day-- an Advanced one dropped in a crucible match after I popped a fireteam medallion. I thought I was going to have to grind to get 10 more regular amps and then exchange, and instead, I was just done.

I've never done either of the 2 lairs. (still haven't beaten calus either) I'm in!

I have a crappy retail schedule so my availability is all over the place. I'll sign up if I can make it.
