The Isochronal Engram from Xur. Can this drop Year 2 items, weapons or armor? Cause it just dropped a damn Year1 weapon that I had. Does this thing not guarantee something new anymore? Cause 97 shards ain't worth it for the shit I already have.

No. Fated Engram will only give Y1 stuff, and I think they said he’ll only be selling Y1 stuff for the foreseeable future as well.
