The Megablocks Arcadia Class Jumpship was down to less than half its original price so I figured it was time I got one. I've never done Megablocks before, but I'm pretty happy with the result. The model is decently sturdy and is accurate enough that it really feels like something out of Destiny.

The build... and the quality of the individual pieces, however, were't quite up to LEGO standards. The coloring on some pieces was splotchy, a few pieces came out a bit less than 100% perfect from their molds, and the instructions were ok, but there were a few times that the build order left significant structural components without proper backing support... meaning that I had the whole model crumble about three times as I tried to add the next little section. It just kinda felt like shuffling the build order slightly could have fixed that... but maybe that's why Megablocks aren't LEGO??

Anyway, the end result looks quite good on its included stand. Worth the $20 I paid? Eh... sure.
