Anonymous Autumn (Destiny)
I got a tip about this sidearm. You can get it in packages from Shaxx or as a crucible drop. It rules! Mine has rangefinder, but I think kill clip would be good too. I think I have a new dream loadout with it and Redrix's. It's really accurate in the air and fast firing, so you can get to shotgun rushers before they can get a bead on you. And it takes primary ammo which is nice in the crucible.
Give it a try. As much as I like fusion rifles, putting this thing in the secondary slot is hard to beat.

As someone who never really used ANY sidearms except for Trespasser, I'm actually pretty impressed with them. Here's a kill from last night, using Translation Theory (Outlaw+Rampage, neither of which came into play with this particular kill):

I've been surprised to find I like sidearms now
I remember hating them in D1. Recently I've come to the realization that I don't care for hand-cannons because you lose sight of your target every time you fire so it takes me too long to figure out how to adjust my aim. Most of the sidearms don't do this though. In your clip you can still see the sights even as the gun kicks up into view. Plus there are quite a few sidearms that behave like auto-rifles or pulse rifles when you fire them.

They're pretty different beasts in D2, in that they actually kill fast enough to justify their short range.

1. IMO kill clip is better than rampage on a sidearm
2. Sidearms are hella good in Destiny 2. Maybe a montage is in order…
3. For some reason the competitive playlist is really easy as of now. Today I just went 10-1 which never would have happened in Warmind. I wonder if everyone is trying to get the crucible quests that require you to play competitive?

Here's a kill using Anonymous Autumn. Blink and you'll miss it.

Nice. ;)
(Remember, I was killing a guy who had just supered - so if it took a little longer, it's partly because he's overshielded at the start. But yeah, that Autumn is pretty deadly. :) )

Oh I noticed. Another reason sidearms rule.
