Unlimited Dreaming City loot (Destiny)
It works. I actually did it by accident. A couple of weeks ago, I got the offering, but didn't get around to turning it in, probably because I just wasn't in the city much at the time. Then, early last week, I did turn it in. At some point later I noticed the offering in my inventory, and I thought that seemed odd, but I didn't realize it was an exploitable glitch at the time. I just thought maybe I'd acquired another one and hadn't noticed.
But, yesterday I happened to watch this video and realized I'd already taken the first step that he mentions. I tried turning it in again, and it worked. There didn't seem to be any limit to how many times I could do it. As the guy mentions, it's not powerful gear, so it won't help increase your maximum light, although I was able to infuse a couple of old Reverie Dawn pieces to get them higher than they had been.
I'm not sure whether it lasts for multiple weeks. I'm guessing yes, but I'll have to check today and see whether it's still there.

Can confirm, now feel dirty.
I just wanted the ship, hopeful for the ghost shell. 90+ minutes later I didn't get either of them, but I did get 300+ weapon parts and 10-15 masterwork cores. Got the hand cannon 3 times, about 50% armor, 50% weapons otherwise.
Just as a heads-up...
This seems to be patched. I finished Gateway Between Worlds last night on my 3rd character, and decided to hold onto it for science.
Turned it in this morning, after reset, and it disappeared from my inventory after the chest spawned.
Not surprising - just wanted to save anyone else the effort (and the one lost drop).

Yet another example of how any bug that helps players gets patched out by the next reset, despite any little change requiring "hundreds of man-hours", while bugs or design decisions that slow players down take months of "we're listening" to get tweaked, with zilch content in between.
So it goes.
Also, is it a Wish-Ender week this week?

No, next week.

Just as a heads-up...
How are you gonna just ignore that bait dangling out there like that? (:
It's Korny. :)

Did I mention today's 7,700+ word patch notes for Warframe, complete with three dev workshops? Making content for games sure is hard, especially when you're less than half of Bungie's size!
Looks like you did, yep - right here!
