How does this compare to Kathy Rain? That’s the previous adventure game you recommended, and I really enjoyed that.

It's better. Only slightly more difficult.

Have you played Return of the Obra Dinn? It’s much more of a logic/puzzle game than a classic adventure game, but I think you might enjoy it.

Obra Dinn is definitely worth your time.
