Yeah, the only thing that seems certain is that there was some porn on a flash drive. Whether there's any credibility to the other accusation is something we might never know.
The thing is, even though I know that Randy Pitchford works at Gearbox, there's no real connection in my mind between him and the Borderlands experience. I don't think about him (or any individual, really) when I'm playing it. It's something that was made by a nebulous "team," most of whom I've never heard of. This is different to me than say, R. Kelly's music, which is very directly associated with and representative of an individual, and which I'm now thankful that I was never a fan of.
