An Arsenal of Tricks... (Destiny)
...is a crappy, crappy bounty.
Not sure how many of you are still playing IB... but geez. I'm literally at 50% when I finish the other 3 bounties, regardless of class. That's dumb.
On the other hand, I got angry about it last night, put together a Titan build that was focused on melees (100% Strength, Top Tree Striker w/Skullfort, Outreach and Enhanced Momentum Transfer mods), and played SUPER-aggressively... something I almost never do. (I guess I should have equipped a shotgun! oops. Hindsight.) I finished the last 100 kills in 9 games (I usually average 1-2 melee kills/game) - and it was a BLAST! Now I'm just sad that I can't figure out a build for Warlocks/Hunters that are quite so punchy.
Anyway, it's unlikely that I'll play like this all the time - it's really not my style... but it was fun as a one-off.
But Arsenal of Tricks can still die in a fire.
TIL: Don't Make Wu Angry.

An Arsenal of Tricks...
For Warlocks, handheld supernova grenades are your friend as they're one-hit kills. Run middle-tree Voidlock, max your Discipline with mods and put on the Contraverse Hold exotic (which gives you back grenade energy on charged grenade hits). Add a weapon with Demolitionist. Always throw a charged grenade (when in shotgun range).
For Hunters next season, try using Frostees to speed up your regen, or simply max Discipline and run Shinobu's Vow for double skip grenades. This season you could pair Gambler's Dodge and Arc Battery, but that'll be gone next month.
An Arsenal of Tricks...
Other thing for Hunters - run bottom tree and use a weapon with ricochet rounds (e.g. Recluse). Shoot yourself next to a wall after spawning until you're hurt, and you'll regen grenade/melee.

Edits in blue.
(The Season of Dawn release date is Tuesday, 10th December 2019. As I recall the artifact is to switch to something else.)
A little late, sir!

Heh. I ran a strength build for my Warlock, too, using bottom tree stormcaller and Karnstein Armlets. With two Outreach mods (one on my Armor 2.0 class item, and one on a pair of y2 boots), I always had a charged melee. Would have finished the 89 kills in 7 games, but had 3 really terrible ones in a row at the end of the stretch.
Decided I didn't have time for the hunter version... but I think it was doable. I played 2 games with Liar's Handshake and middle tree arcstrider, and collected 17 kills. At that rate, I would have finished in another 8 or 9 games.
I guess I trust melees more than I trust grenades. :)
That Fishing Pole's Still Open...
You can always kick back. ;-)
