Maybe once it has a technology debt so large or has built up too much cruft that a sequel is needed
It sort of feels like were pretty rapidly approaching that point to me. There’sa whole lot of old content that isn’t relevant already—it might as well go away for good.
I feel like they really need an Age of Triumph to revitalize all the old stuff. The old raids are good. Shattered Throne is good. Escalation Protocol and Blind Well are fun. In current Destiny where you need to be constantly farming XP, they don’t make sense as ways to spend play time, though.
