But I'm a sentimental cuss.

Here are a few thoughts.

It doesn’t hold quite the same place in my heart. I was in basic military training when it came out, and didn’t even play it until way into the following year. I never quite had the time for it, but, in terms of being a complete package, I think it’s Bungie’s best game.

Halo 3 remains my favorite in terms of both campaign and multiplayer experiences, but I was in college when it came out and had all the time in the world to do nothing but play it. Reach is a close second, though.

Humanity working together to overcome a larger threat is not canon.

TIL governments kidnapping children and pressing them into military service is “working together.”
