The Music (Gaming)

One of the things I didn't see mentioned is just how crazy that music system in the game is.

You'll be walking around the open world, and enter a battle. The music playing in the open world will transition to a battle version of that theme literally without missing a beat. Like, they just transition into it completely flawlessly without the music stopping. It's almost as if they have a bunch of different stems they can spool up as the battle begins, and wind down as it ends.

This even applies to a one off random quest that has its own music. Get into a battle? Transitions that unique song into a battle theme! It's nuts.

I'm pretty sure this is the most sophisticated music system I've ever seen in a game. And of course, the music itself is phenomenal.

They just needed Marty's quiet button so that after a good long time walking around it drops out leaving you in silence.
