In the past number of years there have been a few video game franchises teased or featured during the spectacle that has become the Super Bowl. Whereas, video games used to almost be generally viewed as somewhat counter-cultural, or very sub-cultural; over the years [video games, or certain aspects of them] are becoming more and more almost viewed as a part of the culture.

I heard a rumor about a new Microsoft Xbox One and Surface ad, but given their deal with the NFL and oft debated target on Fantasy Footballers, it does not come as too much of a surprise.
Possibly Sony will have some type of advert. planned?
