After all that is what it does.
If you mouse over it, the link title is 'Reset new and read postings'. Seems pretty accurate...
My only fear about changing the wording of the visible link is making that bar too long on small (mobile) screens.

Though I tried hovering my finger over the link on my Nexus 7 and nothing happened ;-)
Well, OK, my finger got tired but nothing else seemed to happen...
But it's small beer.
How about just "Reset" then?
