If you mouse over it, the link title is 'Reset new and read postings'. Seems pretty accurate...
My only fear about changing the wording of the visible link is making that bar too long on small (mobile) screens.

Reading this on an iPhone I can tell you that that is the least of your worries ;-)

Though I tried hovering my finger over the link on my Nexus 7 and nothing happened ;-)
Well, OK, my finger got tired but nothing else seemed to happen...
But it's small beer.
How about just "Reset" then?

Yes, Reset is better than refresh.
I was annoyed the first time I pressed it. I haven’t clicked it for the second time yet, but I’m sure it is just a matter of time.
