Me too. It's a nice change of pace from the "ESPN voice" most FPS games use. I love Steitzer, but he started a trend that got old very quickly...

I could be wrong about it being Eccleston, but to my uncultured American ears, it sure sounds like him.

I just watched a little MP gameplay and I was thinking this new announcer guy sounded a little weak. Especially amongst all the guns and explosions and epic magix.

I wanted a little more: "BRAVO LOST!" "CHARLIE CAPTURED! GOOD JOB GUARDIANS!" Gets me pumped.

But I could totally dig customisable announcers and would definitely buy the STEITZERISE DLC voice pack.

I'm now absolutely convinced, having watched enough PvP vids and listened carefully, that the Announcer is Idris Elba.

I thought Elba was already doing the FIFA 2015 announcement, which sounds entirely different than the commentator.

Yeah, but he's all over the damn television all the time doing Sky ads here and sounding less enthusiastic. I'm almost 100‰ certain it's him. Probably phoned it in, or no real studio flourish to the announcements yet.
