Thanks to both of you for the answers! One more question. What does the player highlight button do? I assume it's similar to the highlight function in Battlefield.

It is basically so you can look at the player's gear or invite them to your fireteam or join their fireteam, or view their Playstation profile. After you highlight a player I believe you hit option to bring up a contextual menu with those options (and probably more I am forgetting).
