Dress it up all you like, what matters is whether they succeeded. The obvious answer is no, they didn't.

Uh... go reread my post and tell me how I was "dressing it up." Being unwilling is a SLIGHT towards the way most people deal with networking not a defense.

By ‘dress it up all you like’ I don't mean you specifically — I mean anyone who might seek to explain it away. The only thing that matters is whether or not they succeeded. Everything else is a supplementary detail.
