Will be updating album... (Destiny)

Continuing the comparisons over the next few days, but I've spent the evening with the 360 version of Destiny, which proved to be better than what I had expected...

So far, I've updated the images that had already been uploaded with comparisons on the 360. The differences between the 360 and the PS3 are huge, but both have pros and cons. Personally, I'm much happier with the 360 version, as graphics are way better, at the cost of performance; the framerate is choppy (gets worse when there's less skybox in your FOV), the textures are rough, and jaggies are everywhere. But I'm okay with all of this because the game doesn't give me a headache like the PS3 version does, despite the more-or-less fluid gameplay and generally consistent framerate.

Colors, shadows, and saturation are better, and even hold up well against the PS4 version, huge difference in resolution aside...

I'll have XBONE comparisons up tomorrow, if I have time...

The best aliasing I could find in those images suggests horizontal res on 360 is around 1024, but I'm having difficulty finding a good spot to determine vertical.

So, if you want to contribute to science, could you get a shot like this one?

Note the presence of the two long and visually unbroken edges which are near-horizontal but feature a very large number of clearly-visible stairsteps.

I have some verticals (the peaks of the tower. I'll definitely upload you some samples when I get the chance.

Definitely not vertically 720 on 360. I'm getting results in the same range as the PS3 version, which surprises me a little, possibly slightly higher. I'll bounce it off of B3D.
