The clans interface is terribly confusing — it could really use some work. The button ‘Set as <console> clan’ implies it's changing a property of the clan (the adjacent button is ‘Display settings’) when in actual fact this button means ‘Join clan on <console>’. I've still not found any way to change the clan logo / background header, either.

Clan > Display Settings and they appear on the right hand side of your screen for selection and change.
