Co-op Night Is Wednesday at 9 EST

Last week we almost saw Earth glassed. Let's go further back in time to when we got a real shellacking.

This week:

New Alexandria
Legendary
Tough Luck, Thunderstorm, and Mythic (fun skulls and Tilt optional)


We get a bird's eye view of the end of the world, and we might even run into Buck!

How do we play?

1. Either send a friend request to the gamertag Coop Night on XBL or send a note to Kermit7.
2. If you're online at the designated time, I assume you have an interest in co-op and invite you to my party. (Friends of Coop Night get invited first.)
3. If and when we have a full party (or multiple parties), we play a short custom Free-For-All game and the results will serve as our randomized team list. I'll assign team leaders, and we'll count off four starting from the top.
4. The party leaders leave to form their own Xbox Live party, inviting their assigned teammates (usually the two to three names under them in the last game results). Then the co-op game begins!


With luck, this process shouldn't take more than five to ten minutes.

Watch each other's back and remember, on Co-op Night assists count as much as kills.

OK, writing it down above my light switch wasn't enough, this time I'm going past that and past sticky notes and writing it on my arm in permanent marker, and also by my light switch. I will be there.

The funny thing is I honestly didn't think of that. Although then I'd have to set it less than 24 hours beforehand, because I don't it going off every night at 9:00.

Do you or anyone in your family have a smartphone? They have alarms that you can set for a specific day.

Arrghh. I haven't been able to make these yet. I have a church movie that meets on Wednesday nights.
I'm gonna debate with myself about this all day. I will post again if I can make it. I definitely want to play some REACH. I love the REACH campaign--its the one I have replayed the most out of all HALOs.

Had a great time playing last night. Levi made sure to throw some random grenades now and then to keep things interesting, and that certainly motivated me to do a better job of remembering how to fly a falcon just so I wasn't sitting there on the landing pad about to be exploded. I thought my Six was a great pilot, but apparently, all skills atrophy with disuse. All in all, it reminded me of what a great game Reach is, and it's been too long since I played it through. We had plenty of fun without even bothering with the easter eggs (and why would you want to bypass dancing with hunters at Claude's place anyhow?).

I won't be organizing a co-op night next week, but I expect to do so on the 3rd. See you then.

I remembered how to fly it... kind of, I went with my best guess, the left trigger, and it was correct. It takes like 2.5 to 3 seconds to actually lift off.

I was able to get off the pad, then had an uncontrolled descent down to the death barrier. It's OK, there were only 3 of us in my Falcon at the time. ;)
